According to the rating in the World Bank’s Doing Business study, Indonesia is considered to be moderate when it comes to starting a business. In the 183 economies the World Bank evaluated, Indonesia is ranked at 122 which is the bottom 100 of the list. In terms of starting a business, it is at number 161 which means that it is quite hard in terms of application and such. No jail time for playboy editor

Playboy Indonesia editor Erwin Arnada has been acquitted by the Indonesian Supreme Court. His crime? Erwin was convicted of distributing and profiting from indecent pictures but everything is now water under the bridge and he is now a free man.

According to Erwin’s lawyer, they have not received a copy of the decision form the court, however the verdict has already been issued by the Supreme Court. Erwin has been in the Cipinang Penitentiary located in East Jakarta since last year of October. He will most probably be released in the morning during normal business hours where the prosecutors will coordinate with the prison regarding the release of Erwin. Read more
